Snowy Time Lapse of Inwood
One of the things I love about my D700 is the built in intervalometer. This morning I set up at my bedroom window and focused my 24mm on the scene below. I set the intervalometer to release the shutter once every ten seconds for 1000 images. About 3 hours later I had my images, and dumped them into Quick Time Pro to produce the video you see below. Enjoy.

Snow glorious snow.
As I sit here eating a chunk of baguette with home made marmalade I anxiously count down the minutes until I must pedal out to the station and catch the train to Hastings on Hudson where I'll ride to the trail head at Sprain Ridge. Alex will be on the 9:20 train out of Grand Central and we'll catch up on things as he's been out of town for the last couple weeks.
So, my first real ride on the F1 will be in the snow. Should be sloppy! Full ride report and pics as soon as I can.

In Inwood.
My wife and I now officially live in Inwood. Today we drove a 17' U-haul truck from Charm City to Manhattan. (We're now island dwellers) We're both exhausted. We moved all of our stuff into a two bedroom apartment on the5th floor of a great big ol' building... each floor took 18 agonizing steps to conquer.... times four... that's 72 steps just to get to our apartment..... add another 72 for the way back down to get more stuff! Multiply this all by about 30 times and you get: sore back, sore legs, totally devoid of energy. It's time to go to bed now.
Photos soon, I promise.
